Parakeets [bugies] are small esaly frightend parots. normal tranig needed dose depend on how much you want them max traning can take 1 year or more . a good tip for owners of parakeets that fly is hand feeding start with milet spray then try there normal food. To train them to step up onto your finger push gently right where the legs meet the body with your finger when you do this they will ether step up or fly away .
cookileils are not always frindly you must have there respect. Geting them to step up is not always easy but traning them to step up is just like training a big parakeet [see above]. They like fruit,and eat alot,do not ferget to feed them they may become agrasive.
